Submission Guidelines

We welcome submissions of poetry, short prose, and reflective writing inspired by patient–volunteer interactions. Pieces should embody compassion, empathy, and the power of storytelling within healthcare spaces. We aren't looking for extraordinary writing — simply true stories that resonate with a broad audience. The more personal, the more powerful. Both hospital volunteers and patients are encouraged to contribute.

  • Poetry — Up to 3 poems, no more than 40 lines each.
  • Prose — One piece up to 1,500 words.
  • Originality — Please submit work in English that is your own original creation.
  • Simultaneous submissions — Welcome, but notify us promptly if accepted elsewhere.

How to Apply

Prepare your submission as a single PDF or Word document, including a cover page with your name, email, and a short biographical statement (100 words or fewer). All submissions should be uploaded through the Google Form linked below.

Our editorial team carefully reviews every piece. Accepted works will be notified shortly after and published in our digital magazine, with select pieces considered for print features and special issues.
